Good news! As some of you would've seen on Facebook, Cats & Whiskers is back in action!

I've signed up for and applied for a number of markets coming up before Christmas, and hope to have loads of new designs up on etsy and felt soon!

More info on markets as they come, but first to confirm is the Johnsonville Christmas parade fair on the 30th of November. I'll be inside the Johnsonville community centre from early morning.

On 1 May, Cats & Whiskers will have been open for a year. With this milestone coming up, I have started reflecting over the last 12 months. It has been a lot of fun running my own small business. I have loved attending markets and interacting with people online and hearing how many people love the jewellery. This first year has been a huge success and has gone much better than I could have imagined.

However, with the first anniversary coming up, I have decided it will be time to farewell Cats & Whiskers for now. I absolutely love making jewellery, but I have decided to put my focus into other areas of my life for now. I haven't currently decided whether or not this will be permanent.

There is one definite upside to the closure of Cats & Whiskers. As this is a very sudden decision, I have quite a lot of stock to sell. This means that sometime over the next couple of weeks I will be adding all current stock to my etsy store at clearance prices. I will post more information on the Cats & Whiskers facebook page when I have it.

Thank you all for your huge support of Cats & Whiskers over the last year, it would not have been the same without you.

Underground Market at the Dowse

I will be at the Underground Market at the Dowse on Sunday from 11 til 3. I will have loads of new pieces with me that aren't available online yet, including mini lockets, new leather bracelets and more!

Be sure to visit and get a coffee at the cafe at the same time.

PS the Underground Market organisers will be there with a questionnaire.  Fill it out and you will get a free gift!  There are some Cats & Whiskers earrings up for grabs so be in quick!

Cats & Whiskers is booked into five markets over the next few months!  Here is the calendar of where you will find me:

Sunday 10 March:  Underground Market at The Dowse, 11am-3pm
Saturday 6 April:  Underground Market's Jewellery and Accessories Market at Frank Kitts Park, 10am-4pm
Sunday 14 April:  Underground Market at The Dowse, 11am-3pm
Saturday 4 May: Craft 2.0, St James Theatre
Sunday 12 May: Underground Market at The Dowse, 11am-3pm.

Make sure you come visit - a lot of Cats & Whiskers items are only currently available at markets, not online so it is worth the trip!
